On September 1, 2023, the largest comprehensive school in Russia was officially opened in Voronezh. The construction was financed under the Decree № 534 of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian delegation included Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Dmitry Krutoy, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Mikhail Rusy, and others. Eximgarant of Belarus was represented by Deputy General Director Alexander Timoshishin.
The construction of the school was carried out with the involvement of an export loan from the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and with the insurance support of Eximgarant of Belarus. The building was constructed according to a unique project developed by Belarusian specialists: 110 classrooms for almost 3,000 children and 220 teachers. The regional leadership and members of the Belarusian delegation laid a capsule in the foundation of the new facility – a kindergarten for 600 children, which is also planned to become the largest in Russia.
