Resident’s civil liability insurance under export contracts

Eximgarant of Belarus has developed an insurance product to ensure the exporter’s fulfilment of their obligations under an export contract to the foreign buyer and protect the importer’s property interests who purchases the Belarusian goods (works, services) – insurance of resident’s civil liability under an export contract.

 Procedure for interaction:

1.      Conclusion of an export contract;

2.      Conclusion of an insurance policy;

3.      Exporter’s failure to fulfil the obligations under an export contract;

4.      Payment of insurance indemnity and transfer of the right of claim to Eximgarant of Belarus;

5.      Submitting a request against the exporter.

 Documents required for the conclusion of an insurance policy:

·         Application for Insurance Policy;

·         Export contract;

·         The Insured’s title and financial documents;

·         Beneficiary’s title documents.

Procedure for the Insured to follow upon the occurrence of an accident that may constitute an insurable event under the terms of insurance policy:

·         Insurance claim statement;

·         Original version of an insurance policy;

·         Documents proving the occurrence of an insurable event and the amount of losses incurred.
