On September 6-8, 2024, Grodno hosted the International Economic Forum, which was held as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Grodno region and the day of the city of Grodno. The forum hosted a universal exhibition of the city's achievements, in which 45 enterprises took part, including Eximgarant of Belarus –Grodno branch.
Among the honorary guests of the forum were the First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Leonid Anfimov, Consul General of the Russian Federation Feodosiy Vladyshevsky, Chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee Andrei Khmel and others. The plenary session "Modern Realities - New Opportunities", opened by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Chebotar, was attended by the acting director of the Eximgarant of Belarus –Grodno branch Vadim Kogut.
In the thematic section “Free economic zones as a driver of regional economic development”, Yuliya Stsezhka, Head of the Export Risk Insurance Division of Eximgarant of Belarus, spoke with a report entitled “National System of Export Support within the Framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 25.08.2006 № 534”.
At the forum, the branch presented insurance products to the region’s exporters that take into account the needs of exporters and banks, and introduced the forum’s participants and guests to export support mechanisms, voluntary and compulsory types of insurance.
