On January 16, 2024, within the framework of the working visit of the Cuban delegation to the Republic of Belarus, the Director General of the GECOMEX concern Aurelio Mollineda Martinez visited Eximgarant of Belarus.
The Cuban delegation included: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Belarus Mario Leonides Moreno Aguilera, Deputy Director of the ALIMPORT company Maria Elena Velez, as well as a representative of the OMNIA company Erich Nelson Rodriguez Gonzalez.
Eximgarant of Belarus was represented by General Director Valery Yarmoshka, Deputy General Director Alexandr Timoshishin, Head of the Export Risk Insurance Division Yuliya Stsezhka.
During the meeting, the prospects for further trade and economic cooperation between the countries were discussed. In particular, the Cuban side expressed interest in supplies of Belarusian dry milk, a strategically important product for Cuba. Representatives of Eximgarant of Belarus spoke about the mechanisms for exporting the product within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 25, 2006 № 534 " On the promotion of exports of goods (works, services)".
