MAZ took 3rd place in rally-RAID "Dakar-2020»

MAZ driven by Sergey Vyazovich was the third in the Dakar 2020 rally raid. For the second time in history, the Belarusian crew is on the podium of the most prestigious auto marathon in the world. Eximgarant of Belarus became one of the partners of the race.
The winner of the marathon became Russian Andrey karginov, on the second place-his teammate KAMAZ-Master Anton Shibalov. It took about 2 hours for the Belarusians to get the best result. For the third place, members of the Belarusian crew received legendary statuettes for the winners and prize-winners of the Dakar.
Participation in the Dakar, in addition to sports goals, pursued some others as well. Many of the design know-how has been tested in real conditions, which will improve the serial production of trucks. Successful performances also have a positive impact on the MAZ's image around the world.
The Dakar rally 2020 started on January 5, 2020 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and ended on January 17 in Kiddiya. The length of the route was about 8 thousand kilometers, and more than half of them were on special stages. Over 350 crews from all over the world took part in the race.
