Eximgarant of Belarus took part in the Austrian-Belarusian business forum

On November 12, 2019, the Austrian-Belarusian business forum organized by the Belarusian chamber of Commerce and industry and the Austrian chamber of Economics took place in Vienna as part of the official visit of President of the Republic of Belarus to Austria.
The forum discussed topical issues of development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, presentations of the Belarusian business climate, tools offered by financial and insurance companies, and successful Belarusian-Austrian projects.
As part of the forum, Eximgarant and the Austrian ECA OeKB signed an Agreement on a reinsurance platform. The document was signed by Gennady Mitskevich - CEO of Eximgarant, and Helmut Bernkopf - a member of the OeKB Board. The agreement lays the foundation for the development of relations between the ECAs of Belarus and Austria in terms of risk diversification for joint projects through mutual reinsurance. Eximgarant and OeKB also held a bilateral meeting, where they discussed the development of relations in terms of supporting mutual trade, supporting the export of joint projects to third countries with the involvement of insurance, financing and reinsurance mechanisms.
