Belarus and Georgia: a new stage of cooperation

Within the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Tbilisi (Georgia) on March 22, 2018, a meeting of the Belarusian-Georgian Business Council was held, as well as the Georgian-Belarusian Business Forum, in which Gennady Mitskevich, CEO of Eximgarant of Belarus, took part.
The forum was opened by the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dmitry Kumshishvili and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi. At the Forum the participants discussed various areas of cooperation: industrial production, energy, wood processing, transport logistics, pharmaceuticals, information technologies, financial instruments to support export-import operations.
Gennady Mitskevich and David Saganelidze, CEO of the State Investment Fund of Georgia, JSC "Partnership Fund", held a meeting and the result was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed to support and develop Belarusian and Georgian companies investment activities, as well as to stimulate mutual turnover of goods and services between countries.
