On September 27, 2013 the representatives of the Export insurance agency of Russia (EXIAR) paid a working visit to Belarus.
Pyotr Fradkov, General Director of EXIAR, Gennady Mitskevich, General Manager of Eximgarant of Belarus, Mikhail Olshansky, the First Deputy General Manager of Eximgarant of Belarus, as well as the managers of OJSC “MAZ”, took part in the meeting. The meeting was devoted to the problem of the promotion of Belarusian products manufactured with the participation of Russia, to third countries’ markets. The possibility of Russia’s attracting funds with EXIAR’s support necessary to finance export-oriented products and to insure export supplies to new markets constituted the agenda.
According to Mikhail Olshansky, the First Deputy General Manager of Eximgarant of Belarus, such meetings are held on a regular basis, which facilitates the implementation of foreign trade co-projects.
It is worth mentioning that in the July of 2012 Eximgarant of Belarus and EXIAR signed a General Agreement for Cooperation and Joint Activities, and in the November of 2012 the two parties entered into an Agreement on facultative insurance.
